SAALT believes that coali­tion-build­ing is crit­i­cal to our work and to the South Asian com­mu­ni­ty in the Unit­ed States. As such, SAALT is a mem­ber of many coali­tions includ­ing the Nation­al Coali­tion of South Asian Orga­ni­za­tions, Nation­al Coun­cil of Asian Pacif­ic Amer­i­cans (NCAPA), Deten­tion Watch Net­work, Nation­al Net­work for Immi­grant and Refugee Rights, Nation­al Coun­cil of Asian Pacif­ic Amer­i­cans, and the Rights Work­ing Group. In addi­tion, SAALT coor­di­nates the Nation­al Coali­tion of South Asian Orga­ni­za­tions.
